Batch Scale Bars: Actions and Image Queues

Build an action set

Arrange the preparation and scale-bar actions in the order they should run. Save a reusable set for images that need the same presentation steps.

Test before processing the full queue

  1. Choose a few images that represent the range of your set.
  2. Confirm the calibration required by each image.
  3. Run the action set and inspect the outputs.
  4. Adjust the sequence before processing the remaining images.

Review the image queue

Check the selected images and their processing status. If an image fails or needs different settings, inspect it individually before rerunning the relevant task.

Avoid carrying the wrong scale across images

An action set can make styling consistent, but each image still needs an appropriate physical scale. Split the work into compatible groups when magnification or image preparation differs.
