Plan the comparison

Choose the images that support the same question and decide their reading order. Prepare clear sample labels before placing the panels.

Build the figure

  1. Add the images or plot exports to NotyGrid.
  2. Choose a layout and adjust spacing and padding.
  3. Review the crop and placement of every panel.
  4. Set panel labels and check each image scale bar.
  5. Choose output dimensions and inspect the exported figure.

Check the assembled image

Different magnifications require image-specific scale information. Keep labels and processing consistent enough for the intended comparison, and avoid cropping away context needed to interpret a result.
