  1. Import the XRD pattern and locate suitable peaks.
  2. Review the fit region and settings.
  3. Run fitting and inspect the fitted curves.
  4. Review the parameters before exporting or continuing.

What this workflow helps you do

Fit the selected diffraction features to obtain parameters for comparison or later calculations. Keep the focus on the peak model and its agreement with the measured pattern.

Before you accept the result

Inspect background, overlap and residual structure. A fitted width is meaningful only with a suitable model and enough data across the peak.
