Locate Raman spectral features and inspect the candidates against the original signal. Use the reviewed peaks as a basis for comparison or further interpretation.

Before you accept the result

Check shift units, fluorescence background and narrow artifacts. Closely spaced features may need closer review than a single detected peak suggests.
