Workflow

  1. Import and plot the diffraction data.
  2. Run peak detection with suitable settings.
  3. Inspect candidate peaks against the pattern.
  4. Keep the reviewed table or continue to peak fitting.

What this workflow helps you do

Locate candidate diffraction peaks without starting a full size calculation. Review their positions and visible shape, then use the table as the starting point for fitting or phase comparison.

Before you accept the result

Check weak candidates against noise and inspect overlapping features. A peak table describes detected features; it does not identify phases by itself.
